• Charles Opio is a songwriter and speaker from Uganda, Africa who has dedicated his life to working with youth. Charles has spoken to over 50,000 students in his home country in the last year on the importance of community and kindness. Using his single "Be The Light," Charles encourages students to "shine" for each other.

This program is perfect for elementary schools. Students will have a blast learning a traditional Ugandan song and dance and learning about another culture. But most importantly, they'll be reminded that they have value, worth, and the power to affect their friends and community by "being the light" for each other.
